Rigid parts as well hips and palm hands are made of metal epoxy putty while the chest is made of Milliput that is an epoxy paste too. You can insert them one in another and they will fit in precisely. Heads can be changed as many times you want using precision brass square tubes. It is my current head model material of choice though because it is so lightweight. Regardless of this, it is wise to twist thin wire together so that you have back-up if a strand snaps, this becomes more likely on stress points as your puppet get used more. This wire is slightly more expensive than alternative metal wire but is not as brittle and springy. These are fantastic, they can be used to create armatures for human or animal puppets all you need a small flat-head screwdriver.
